Jennifer Murphy is the owner and fifth generation President of NetPlus Alliance, an industrial and contractor supplies buying group located in Lockport, New York. NetPlus Alliance is a family-owned business that began in 1885 as full-line industrial distributor and now serves 400 distributors and 180 manufacturers and wholesalers throughout North America. Jennifer started with NetPlus Alliance in 2006 as the Director of Marketing, and worked in several roles, including VP of Marketing and COO before becoming President in 2013. She has built a team and a culture at NetPlus Alliance that is focused on education, marketing, and growth opportunities for the long-term success of their distributor and manufacturer members.
Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major concentration in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University. In 2012, she graduated from the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) program and is a current member of the CEL Mastery Forum.
Jennifer lives in Lockport, NY, with her husband Tom, and has three children, Elaina, Sam, and Henry. She serves on the board of directors for the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier, and the strategic planning and membership committees for the Industrial Supply Association’s Women Industrial Supply Executives.

2002: founded NetPlus Alliance Inc., a buying group for industrial and contractor supplies distributors. Now a national company of 400 distributors and 160 manufacturer and wholesaler suppliers.
Community and volunteer:
1992: named a Trustee of Lockport Savings Bank; In 1998 the bank became a public company, First Niagara Financial Group. I served on the Finance, Audit, Investment, Executive and Compensation Committees. I retired from the Board of Directors of the Bank in 2010.
